Capricorn Moon
"Capricorn dreams may be authoritarian and depict power over, as well as service to, nature. Capricorn rules the bones—the framework of the body. Because we download information into our bones, dreams when the moon is in Capricorn may evoke memory stored in our bones. Similarly, Mother Earth downloads information into her skeletal system—the minerals. Capricorn dreams may call up deep information or visualize the beauty of the mineral world. Capricorn also rules the knees. As a result, Capricorn dreams may be humbling and remind us to serve others."

From the 'Moon Lover' series by Dana Gerhardt

The wise moon-mad neighbor you wish you had, who really knows what moon signs mean, hollers over the fence, "Moon in Capricorn today." She circles her knees this way and that to keep them limber and strong. Earlier she took a stiff brush to her skin to stimulate the circulation. She took a tonic to a friend whose rheumatism would be acting up. Now she is busy at the ground. "Root day," she mumbles. "Good for turning the soil." She notices you staring at her. "Get yourself down to business! Can’t you tell what this day is for?" It feels earthy and humid, like the air somehow weighs more today. "Find your courage! Claim your authority! Build for your future! Make your ancestors proud!" She looks you up in down; then returns to her garden. "Listen to your body too. It could crave salt today—or be undone by it. Depends on what’s already in your system." She is hitting the soil with her spade. "Come back next Capricorn moon and tell me what you’ve found out." You do an inward check. There is something you want to do today, but it scares you a little. Resolve to use this moon to take yourself one step closer.
