Love the Tower - perfect icon for 9/11 and the WTC. I totally agree w/your slant on war and peace. I've been sending emails to Biden and Obama daily, asking them to revamp their approach to the Middle East and Afghanistan. It's easy to do on http://www.whitehouse.gov - if enough people write our administration, something good will happen. Thank for adding your view to cyberspace. Love and peace. CZ*

Very good post, Dana, and I agree with your sentiments. The older I get, the more I believe war is nothing but death, destruction and a total waste of resources in all ways.

Will humanity ever move past the need for conflict? I doubt it but then I have lots of Scorpio/Pluto aspects in my chart! :-D

A powerful and beautiful comment, Dana. It's good just now to be reminded of the powerful potential for change of a Pluto-Saturn moment in individual and collective lives. I especially like this statement:

"Pluto/Saturn transits represent a strong invitation to transform our world. All great transformations begin with sacrifice. When there is a sacrifice, but no transformation, we’re left with just meaningless violence."
