The Divine Feminine is always there for you as intuition—but when you can’t hear these messages, it helps if you focus on a good question. That’s what our Ask the Goddess ritual (link) is for and, if you check the box that says “yes,” one of our Mooncircles goddesses—Simone Butler, Jessica Shepherd, or Jane Ellen—may offer their insights too in a future column.
Dear Luna: My long-term partner has been acting erratically in the last year or so, alienating us from our community. Now he is moving out of state, and though I love him, my life and business are here. I can’t imagine life without him, yet I long to reconnect with the cherished friends I’ve lost. What should I do? Julie
Dear Julie, In a woman’s chart, the Sun represents the man in her life (in addition to being your own life purpose and essential self). Your Capricorn Sun has been knocked to and fro by a square from Uranus for over a year. No wonder your partner has been acting erratically! This process reaches a peak at the end of this month, as Uranus turns direct and the “action” phase begins – i.e. him leaving. Fate (Uranus) is about to intervene so the two of you can pursue separate destinies. Once he’s gone, you’ll be able to reclaim the self you left behind in bits and pieces over the years. With your Sun in the 11th house of friends, your community is a vital part of you – and it’s time to reconnect with and perhaps expand it. In the year ahead, Pluto will be moving close to your Sun in a once-in-a-lifetime conjunction that lasts thru 2019. You are going to be birthing a new version of yourself as you leave the old one behind. Mourn your loss, but trust that the Universe has your back – and so do all the people who love and miss you. Love, Luna (Simone Butler)
