Millennium of the Feminine II

The future of civilization depends on women. That’s the finding of  Stanford biologists Paul and Anne Ehrlich.  In a recently published report, the Ehrlichs predict that overpopulation and over-consumption (by the world’s wealthiest people) are leading our species and the planet to the brink of collapse. At the rate we’re going, we’ll need an additional half-planet full of resources soon. Our only hope for turning back from this brink, say the Ehrlichs is to empower women. Women who are able to control their own reproductive choices tend to have fewer children. They also tend to have healthier and more educated families.  Economies thrive with the support of empowered women.  Say the Ehrlichs, our planet needs their brainpower.
