Dear Luna, My boyfriend and I are expecting our first child. We currently live in a small space that has no room for raising children. We are actively searching for places that suit our needs, but our main problem is finding the means to pay for such a place. We are trying our hardest to make our dreams come true in time for the baby, but I am worried that it won’t go our way. What do the charts say? Anaise
Dear Anaise, Cooperative living is the key for you! You have a very community-oriented Aquarius Moon at the top of your chart, with stabilizing Saturn in your eleventh house of friends, community and social activities.
I would advise searching online for ecovillages in your area, or expand your search to places you might prefer to live. Ecovillages are the up-and-coming way to live, especially when you are raising little ones and want to provide a safe and healthy environment for them. They can be found in cities as well as the country. Your current social environment is not working for you, and when Saturn squares your Saturn in January, you’re being encouraged to find a network that will support you in your goals. You could find the right place in Jan. or Feb., but the strongest time astrologically for a move is when transiting Uranus – which brings big changes – makes its final opposition to your Libra Sun (a process that’s been building since last summer) in April.
The New Moon of April 16 is in your 11th house, which is terrific for a fresh start anytime through May (I don’t recommend moving mid-March thru early April due to Mercury in retrograde, which affects you strongly as you have Gemini rising). You could also band together with friends in a similar situation and create your own ecovillage! That’s what some young families did in Vista, CA (just north of San Diego) a few years back, and their community is thriving. Check them out at www.theemeraldvillage.com.
Best of luck and many lunar blessings as your family grows!
Love, Luna (Simone Butler)
