No sign bounces back from infamy as quickly as charming Gemini. It seems like just yesterday when Gov. Mark Sanford–a chatty Gemini Sun with an emotional Cancer Moon–called a press conference to talk about his feelings and confess it was a fib that he was walking the Appalachian Trail; instead, he admitted that had met his soul mate, that he had crossed moral lines before, that he hoped to fall back in love again with his wife. Now we all know that didn’t happen. But Sanford did manage to charm South Carolina voters again. Just last month he was sworn in as their newest congressman. Sanford has Mercury in Gemini–and if you’ve ever seen him speak, you’ll note he loves to gesture with his hands, which is typical of this placement. He has Venus in Gemini too and reminds me of a few Venus-in-Geminis I know. Each has confessed with endearing honesty how difficult it is to settle their fluttering hearts on just one partner. This is a Venus who loves to love. She’s curious, flirtatious, and drawn to shiny new experiences. I’ve always thought it was such a pity to trap her in the same cage everyone else lives in. But every once in awhile, a few do break out!
