On July 15, 2016, we celebrated Mooncircles’ 16th birthday. No MTV-style parties here, but we have gotten a mobile friendly update. We hope you like the new look. And, we’re offering astrological party favors! Find your free chart, moon phase and transit reports here.
We launched Mooncircles on a Mercury retrograde near a solar eclipse. I mention this to offer courage to anyone who finds they’re beginning something at a notoriously bad time. Such a birth chart might have spelled our doom. Yet the momentum for launching that summer was strong, so we embraced it consciously. We knew it would encourage us to keep making changes and keep growing beyond our vision, and, without losing our central theme, this is what we’ve done.
One ambitious plan that failed was hosting real-time Full Moon ceremonies–at the Full Moon moment–with participants around the world. I don’t know if anyone ever did join us–but after a few months of these virtual ceremonies, even we lost interest in them. What worked was to offer bi-monthly space for wonderful voices, studying, cheering, and wondering about the Moon.
We’re now offering chart software. We love having this new playground, but we haven’t lost our devotion to the cycles of the Moon. On our little piece of the cloud, we’ve celebrated over 400 New and Full Moons. We appreciate all who have joined us over the years in celebrating the Divine Feminine. We hope our ever widening circles of Moon lovers continue to bring more wisdom, joy, and intuitive understanding to the world.

Watching someone perform an act of generosity, uplifts the both the witness and the do-gooder. In the same vicarious way, witnessing the success of your work/team/blog makes me happy all over! 🙂 Your site and blog and Moon Workshops have forever changed the way I experience the moon and I’m better for it. Thank you for sharing your beautiful writing and astro skills with us!

Hmm, that last bit sounded a little sexual. Sex isna bad, mind you, but the interwebs have more than its fair share of rique-business. I meant ‘happy all over’ in a chocolate ice cream cone on a hot summer day, kind of way. Just purely happy for you. And wishing you continued success!

Hee! Thanks for sharing the ice cream.
