Below is an excerpt from the findings of my Venus research (more info about that here):
The best compliment I’ve gotten from a lover? “I want you more than I’ve wanted any other woman.” This was whispered in my ear by a man who women were chasing ALL the time. I felt very powerful and goddess-like. –JH
Sex to me is totally divine and I give myself up to it every time I have it. I hate ‘quickies’ because they’re too short to let me dissolve into the energy. It’s a matter of taking IN energy… being able to hold it…. I had to learn this though. I had to become stronger. –LR
You’d think my life would be a lot sexier with that Venus in Scorpio. The weird thing is that people are always telling me how sexy I am…–PK
How did I feel about my body growing up? Cold. Curious mostly. Once when I was nine, my female cousin and I romped around the bedroom naked, nothing sexual, just exuberant. But a neighbor saw us through the window and told my mother. She was understanding but warned us not to do it again in case someone “nasty and dangerous” saw us. That brought a loss of innocence for me. –SV
Perhaps no Venus is more confused or mystified by what she reads in astrology books than yours. She’s supposedly the most intensely sexual of Venuses, also vindictive and manipulative. This leaves many Venus in Scorpios scratching their heads. What happens typically is that people just take the Sun sign Scorpio key words and paint them on top of Venus… in fact that’s how most cookbook delineation is done.
The influence of Mars
Like Venus in Aries, Venus is Scorpio is said to be in detriment because her ruler is Mars. Venus in Aries wears the Mars right out front, as the warrior, or the risk taker or the lover of challenge. With Venus in Scorpio, it’s as though Mars is submerged. Or hunting in the underworld. So for Venus in Scorpio, the sexuality is often hidden and unconscious, as in “I don’t think I’m sexy, but people tell me that I am.”
And if there’s one thing I know for sure after doing this research, the combination of Venus and Mars IS sexy—particularly by planetary aspect. When I read the questionnaires of people with a real awareness and unabashed interest in their sexuality, nine times out of ten, if not ten times out of ten, Venus and Mars were connected by aspect… and it really didn’t matter what kind of aspect, as long as they were connected.
But for Venus in Scorpio, much goes on under the surface. There may be an early loss of innocence, as for the girl jumping up and down, naked on a bed, then later told something dangerous could have happened. Often there’s an association between sexuality and shame. As with Venus in Capricorn, your Venus is usually aware of the need for self-protection. She may even outright push people away. It takes a long time to open up. And a long time to let go. But once someone is “off the list” with your Venus, they’re off the list forever.
Your Venus likes to live at the extremes. It’s all or nothing, with no place in between. So there may be long stretches of celibacy where everything is shut down. And at other times, tremendous heat and passion. You might discover the most accurate phrase for your sexuality is “fire & ice.” To be satisfied in relationship, something about your partner has to ignite your passion. You want intimacy more than one-night stands. Loyalty matters.
I’m a lover of mystery, a healer, a sorceress. I’m perceptive. I know exactly what to say to pierce somebody’s heart—though I try not to, so I go silent, eyes blank as stone. It’s a weapon and a screen of privacy. I am slow to let people in and slow to let them go. My secret weakness? How vulnerable I am. It’s very hard for me to trust.
The raw energies inside your Scorpio Venus
When astrology was a sacred practice, it was understood that life itself, our very bodies, were infused with the divine. The first astrologers knew the Gods as the powerful, vibrant and creative play of emotions running through their world. The gods appeared as sandstorms, thunder claps, bird song, floods, abundant harvests, calamities, shouts of sorrow and joy.
Gods are immortal which means we can still find them as the ancients did. Astrology can help. Signs point us to the raw energies that define each sign–the u nderlying element and mode. The element describes the dominant energy your Venus likes to run. This is her fuel. The mode describes her preferred speed. Together they suggest the sensory coordinates to use when dialing in your Venus.
Water
Scorpio is a water sign. Water is shapeless, pliable, cleansing, and life-giving. Use your imagination to make these sensations more vivid. Imagination is the control panel that takes us into the invisible world. Imagine dipping it into a pool of water that’s just the right temperature for you. Feel how receptive it is to you. How easily it allows you in. It can warm you, cool you, refresh you, and restore you. Or it can pelt you with unwanted raindrops. Or gather in a torrent that can wash away your house. Water planets can sound like this:
I need to feel my feelings.
I’m a natural healer.
I care.
I’m secretive, self-contained.
I’m easily overwhelmed.
I’m the one who listens to the longings of the soul.
Drip, drip, drip. I can wear myself out with the unceasing drip of my feelings.
Imagining something is usually easier than doing it.
I tend to flow away from obstacles. Sometimes I float or drift through life.
Fixed
This is the rhythm section–the bass line in your Venus song. With fixed signs, the tempo is steady and sure. Scorpio is stabilizing, penetrating, immovable. It loves depth and is nourished by routines. This Venus is sensitive, sturdy, and intuitive. She likes to gather information from the invisible world.
My first answer to anything is usually “no.”
I have enormous energy reserves.
You have no idea how pressured I sometimes feel.
I’ve found that if you wait long enough, most problems solve themselves.
I typically learn the hard way.
I may hold on too long to what’s not good for me.
I may let go too quickly of something new that might be better.
You can count on me. I won’t give up.

Fabulous. I love how you think. Always have.
Wrote a book about my extended reality in Santa Fe & have venus in scorpio (11).
My Venus wolfdog that I raised her mother from a pup, was made blind & diabetic by a careless Vet & I fed her raw venison & shredded greens for the 2nd half of her 12 1/2 years & walked her 3 times a day. She had a wondrous life but the book….under another name, I’d like you to see it someday. You will understand. Hardly anyone can, all chakras on go.
